NFL Trade Rumors:
Derrick Gunn of CSNPhilly reports that a league source has informed him that former Eagles DL Cullen Jenkins is meeting with the New York Giants today.
Mike Garafolo adds that he’s been informed that the meeting will be held tomorrow. Garafolo adds that the Giants are currently the only team to show interest in Jenkins so far.
Ian Rapoport expects Jenkins to find interest from the “elite” teams in the NFL and should have more visits lined up in the coming days.
The Giants parted ways with Chris Canty, which was believed to be a cap decision, so they could use some defensive line help.
Jenkins, 32, was recently released by the Eagles and is currently free to sign with a new team. A previous report indicated that he would be open to returning to Green Bay, but we haven’t heard anything regarding any reciprocal interest to this point.
We have Jenkins currently listed as the No. 74 best available player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

With Tom Brady's new deal meaning the New England Patriots have a bit more cap space to work with, we can look at filling more holes in the team through Free Agency. And one of those holes is Defensive Tackle.
Sure, I like Kyle Love and Brandon Deaderick, but not as starters. They are nice backups to fill in for Vince Wilfork, but one of the things the Patriots were missing...
