Pro Sports Daily:
The last time Jay Cutler tossed three or more interceptions in a game (Sept. 13 2012) the Chicago Bears ran off a string of six consecutive wins.
Prior to that he threw four picks in a 2010 loss to Washington with the Bears running off five straight starting the next week to win the division and advance to the NFC Championship. So naturally with Cutler coming off a three-interception (four total turnovers) nightmare in last week’s loss to the Detroit Lions the assumption is the Chicago Bears could be on the verge of something big starting with Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Cutler certainly hopes so.
“I hope you’re right. It’s gonna happen” Cutler said. “What you don’t want to see is three turnovers three turnovers three turnovers consecutive weeks like that. If you can minimize those you’re going to be in a better place obviously.”
The staff hasn’t lost faith in Cutler’s ability to get the Bears there.
“There were three good performances (to start the season

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Chicago Bears, will continue to wait until the offseason to sign quarterback Jay Cutler to a contract extension.
Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler is in the final year of the extension he signed in 2009 and has the team off to a 3-0 start. But there have been no contract talks so far in-season and the Bears have said they...
The Detroit Lions are really feeling themselves these days.
So much so that regardless of what happens with team bully/defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, their executive branch has the nerve to call the Chicago Bears” thugs.”

You'll have to excuse the late review on the Bears Lions game, I've been on vacation in Orlando Florida. I watched the Bears game after a full day at Disney World at around 12:30 in the morning rather than live. I watched the condensed Gamerewind version of the game and obviously came away just as disgusted as any other Bears fan with the inability to stop Reggie Bush...
In our Friday notebook, we discuss Jay Cutler’s tendency to bounce back from bad performance, Marc Trestman’s 58+2 philosophy, Martellus Bennett’s thought on Jimmy Graham and more.
I always enjoy playing the Bears because it gives me a chance to interact with my buddy "ChicagoBearJew". We keep in touch throughout the season on twitter even when our teams don't play, but he's my go to source for information on the Bears. Of course I had to get his take on a number of things pertaining to this matchup. He's a must follow on twitter, so be...
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, cornerback Charles Tillman and nose tackle Stephen Paea all missed practice today, plus the rest of the injury report.
Last week we had two people guess the final score exactly right in both myself (SaintsNation) and organictallman. I'm not sure we've ever had someone call the score exactly right in the Guru competition, and certainly not two different people in the same week. Not that that matters, though, since Gary J had three out of four answers correct to dominate the field. Gary J now...
Does defense win championships?
Is this axiom, recited more often than an anxious teenager blinks, really as sacrosanct as the frequency with which it is repeated? The reason we inquire is because, despite their 3-1 start, there are foreboding signs that the Bears championship aspirations could be derailed by a suddenly struggling defense. The defense, which has finished...

The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears have a rivalry dating back over 80 years. So, it’s fair to say there isn’t much love lost between the two franchises. Lions vice chairman Bill Ford acknowledged as much on Tuesday.
Ford jokingly referred to the Bears as “a bunch of thugs” during a question-and-answer session at the Lions’ annual Courage House dinner on Tuesday, according...
Bears receiver Brandon Marshall (foot) returned to practice Friday after missing two practices earlier in the week.Fantasy Spin:Marshall was always expected to play Sunday and is a must start whenever in uniform.
After a brutal loss at Detroit in Week 4, the Chicago Bears (3-1) return to the friendly confines of Soldier Field, where they will host the undefeated New Orleans Saints. This should be an extremely difficult game for Chicago, as New Orleans brings a dominant offense, lead by quarterback Drew Brees, and a feisty defense […]The post Chicago Bears host New Orleans Saints in clash...
There is no love lost between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. The NFC North foes faced off on Sunday for the first time this season, and we have already heard a few comments that indicate it was viewed as much more than just another game. On Tuesday, Lions vice chairman Bill Ford spoke about […]
On Sunday, Chicago's third-ranked scoring offense (31.8 ppg) host the Saints' second-ranked passing attack (338 YPG) in the FOX Sports NFL Game of the Week .
Drew Brees' offense were supposed to be tested when they hosted the Dolphins on Monday night, but New Orleans ran Miami out of town via the pass and 35 points in the first three quarters.
Chicago lost their first...
