If you still are interested in adding players off the waiver wire this week, congratulations. It must mean you made the playoffs. Of course I know that’s not the case in every league. Some keeper/dynasty leagues allow non-playoff-bound owners to continue making transactions. Also leagues with consolation brackets may allow waiver wire transactions from those only playing for the chumpionship. But for most fantasy footballers, the days of trolling the waiver wire have ended. I advise you, however, to stay vigilant fantasy football friends. There still may be some help on the waiver wire. For my Rob Gronkowski owners, last week’s streaming tight end of choice was Dallas Clark. He didn’t disappoint, scoring an early touchdown. I thought it might have paved the way for a bigger day, but nonetheless he scored nearly double-digits in most PPR formats. So in two weeks without Gronk, I’ve recommended Dustin Keller (WIN) and Tony Moeaki (FAIL) in Week 12 and Dallas Clark (WIN) in Week 13. This week’s streaming tight end of the week for Gronk owners is Tony Scheffler. With Ryan Broyles now out of the year, the Lions are short at wide receiver. Scheff should see more time running pass routes to fill the gap. I also wouldn’t have a problem starting any of these waiver wire tight ends this week: Greg Olsen, Jared Cook and Jermichael Finley. In that order. All three have plus matchups. If you have any other waiver wire questions/comments, hit me up on the Twitter @TheHazean. Otherwise, good luck in the playoffs!
