Dallas dropped 4 of their last 5 games, including a 14-31 loss to the Giants that bounced them from the playoffs. Dallas fixed one of their major problems last season, the offensive line (although it could have been better by moving Colombo to guard and upgrading two positions with Smith). Dallas also found out their receiving corps is the DEEPEST in the league, they are set at running back, and John Philips is a number 2 (that's playing like a number 1). On the defensive side of the ball, the personnel needs work. Sean Lee is one of the best inside linebackers in the league, but James, Brooking, and Carter are a huge liability; but this is their number 3 priority. The D-line needs to see Ratliff moved to DE, and then getting a NT (350lbs plus) in the draft or FA; but this should be the Cowboys number 2 priority. The number 1 priority...the secondary!
