Mailbag: Jake Matthews to the Giants?

As we ease into the offseason, intrigue about what the New York Giants will do to revamp their roster and improve for next season is building. This week’s mailbag didn’t garner a ton of responses, but it did bring forth a question that provided a good look into how the Giants may be looking to draft in May. @LouisMusto @cover32_NYG do you think of Jake Matthews out of Texas A...

Best RB selection in Giants draft history

The New York Giants have been home to some great running backs over the years, many of which they added through the NFL Draft. Frank Gifford and Tuffy Leemans are hall of famers. But Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw helped guide the Giants to two Super Bowl championships...

Power Rankings: Eli Manning is top-5 QB in the NFL right now according to a new list

With each passing year, no pun intended, the National Football League becomes more and more of a quarterback-driven league. The day and age of teams running the football 40 times per game are a thing of the past, replaced by an era in which quarterbacks throwing 50 passes across four quarters of play is commonplace. Thus, having the right guy under center is more important now than...

Victor Cruz wants Hakeem Nicks to stay in East Rutherford. At a fundraising ball for New Jersey children with cancer and blood disorders Wednesday, Cruz admitted that he wants his partner in crime to stay for another season. Worst RB selection in Giants draft history

The New York Giants have drafted some great running backs throughout the years. Frank Gifford, Joe Morris, Rodney Hampton and Tiki Barber all became stars in the Big Blue backfield. Late-round picks Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw recently helped bring two Lombardi Trophies back to East Rutherford. But none were worse than the 1995 selection of Tyrone Wheatley. The 17th overall...
