It didn’t take the Seattle Seahawks to replace Gus Bradley, hiring Florida Gators defensive coordinator Dan Quinn according to Michael David Smith of profootballweekly.com.
Quinn had been with the Gators for two years, and coached the defensive line in Seattle during the 2009-2010 seasons.
Quinn spent the previous six years coaching the defensive lines for the San Francisco 49ers (2003-04), Miami Dolphins (2005-06) and the New York Jets (2007-08).
He began his NFL coaching career in San Francisco as their defensive quality control coach in 2001 before moving to the defensive line. Quinn has been involved in rumors as a candidate to become the defensive coordinator of the Browns, Eagles or Jaguars.
