AZ Cardinals Report:
The Cardinals have agreed to terms with their first-round draft pick, NT Dan Williams. The contract is said to be 5 years in length, with financial terms yet to be released.
Williams has the opportunity to join Calais Campbell and Darnell Dockett as the starting lineman in the teams 3-4 defense.
Gabe Watson and Bryan Robinson will be battling him for that starting spot. Robinson has been the starter for the last few years, but after 14 seasons his time to perform at his best might be behind him. Possibly allowing for an easy transition to Williams as the starter.
At 6’3″ and 327 pounds, his youth and size allow him the opportunity to be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.
The 23-year-old out of Tennessee had a total of 153 tackles and 6 sacks in his fours years with the school.
