Daniels passes physical; 2 rookies placed on I.R.

Tight end Owen Daniels has passed a physical and been removed from the active/Physically Unable to Perform list, the Texans announced on Monday. The transaction allows Daniels, who tore his right anterior cruciate ligament on Nov. 1, to resume practicing with the team less than two weeks before the regular-season opener against Indianapolis.
