Found February 18, 2013 on Patriots Life:
27-year-old wideout Danny Amendola is far away from a deal with the Rams according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Amendola has never been an unrestricted free agent in his career so it is  likely he could be in anohter uniform next season even though coach Jeff Fisher would like to keep him in St. Louis. With the news that Wes Welker won't be tagged by the Patriots, I could definitely see Amendola as a Patriot. He is a small guy like Welker at 5'11'' 185 lbs. He is also 4 years younger than Welker and is entering his prime. Last season he caught 66 passes for 666 yards and 3 scores but only appeared in 11 games due to injury. His best year was in 2010 when caught 85 balls for 689 yards and 3 touchdowns. I havent watched this guy too much but I know he could be a very dangerous offense threat. He's quick and has soft hands and is the best guy to replace Welker should he walk. What do you think? Yes or no? Lets me know on twitter! @joeloobs Sources:

Rams and Danny Amendola still 'far apart' on deal

It turns out that St. Louis Rams receiver Danny Amendola's agent was right. The teams' signing of Titus Young would have no negative impact on negotiations with this client.
