My girl won’t call out Ray Lewis Juan… Adam Schefter dropped hints today that we could see the Rams ‘Wes Welker-type’ replacing the real thing in New England.  Schefter hinted that salary cap reasons for the Rams and Amendola’s injury history, could make re-signing him a risky proposition.  Welker is getting up there in years and the Pats have walked away from players in the past.  Bringing in a younger version of Welker could be the path the Pats go on.  I still think they need a guy who can take the roof off like Mike Wallace to open up the underneath stuff, but we shall see what direction they choose to go.  A healthy Amendola with Tom Brady would be a monster fantasy option in PPR leagues. The St. Louis Rams have decided not to hire Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator and stepped in a new direction by hiring Frank Bush as linebackers coach. As the St. Louis Rams and the city of St. Louis continue to work with an arbitrator over whether the Edward Jones Dome is a top tier facility and what improvements would make it one, many Rams fans are already looking forward to what feels inevitable. Eventually, the St. Louis Rams will commit to staying in St. Louis and will build a new stadium in the St. Louis area. The million...

Marshall Faulk Thinks Patriots Cheated Rams Out of Super Bowl XXXVI

It’s been eleven years since the New England Patriots toppled the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI and Marshall Faulk still can’t give credit where it’s due to the victors. Faulk feels that the Patriots had videotaped the Rams’ walk-through prior to the game because New England knew how to defend plays St. Louis had not run all season. “Am I over the loss? Yeah, I’m...

Marshall Faulk still feels Patriots cheated to beat Rams in the Super Bowl

It has been more than five years since the New England Patriots were caught videotaping their opponents’ signals, but there are plenty of people who are not ready to let it go. Marshall Faulk is one of those people, as the former St. Louis Rams running back feels he was personally affected by the spygate scandal. On Tuesday, Faulk spoke with CSNNE.com’s Tom E. Curran and said...

Marshall Faulk 'not over being cheated out of Super Bowl' by Patriots

Former NFL running back Marshall Faulk is still not over the St. Louis Rams' loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI. Well, he is, but he isn't."Am I over the loss? Yeah, I'm over the loss. But I'll never be over being cheated out of the Super Bowl," Faulk told CSNNE's Tom Curran Tuesday. "That's a different story. I can understand...

Danny Amendola could replace Wes Welker in New England

A fan named Joshua asked ESPN’s Adam Schefter if Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola could end up replacing Wes Welker in New England. It’s definitely possible, Joshua. Amendola is a poor man’s, younger, cheaper Welker. If New England can’t re-sign Welker, it would not be surprising in the least if the Patriots made a run at Amendola. You’re not the first person who has thought...

Marshall Faulk: The Patriots cheated to beat us

Marshall Faulk still bitter, "cheated out of the Super Bowl" by Patriots

Remember that whole "Spygate" thing? As a Patriots fan, does anyone ever bring that up to you? Like most things in the media, the perception of spygate got blown way out of proportion. It was cheating, certainly. Did it help? Of course it did, otherwise Belichick wouldn't have been doing it. However, most fans and even analysts kind of got so lost in a game of telephone...

Ravens Forced To Release WR Anquan Boldin This Offseason?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentioned on Thursday’s NFL Live that the Baltimore Ravens may “very well” end up parting ways with WR Anquan Boldin following the Super Bowl, via Rotoworld.com. Schefter added that the Ravens are projected to be $5 million over the 2013 salary cap, which is a huge problem given that Joe Flacco is set to become an unrestricted free agent and...

Rams Fire Rob Ryan After Five Days On The Job

ESPN Senior Writer Adam Schefter is reporting that the Rams have changed their minds and will not name Rob Ryan defensive coordinator.   I’m not really sure what happened, but reports are that after several discussions, he and Jeff Fisher could not agree on a defensive philosophy. I guess that five minutes of being unemployed will drag on.
