Larry Fitzgerald: Saints players needed to be suspended
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald made a guest appearance on Rich Eisen’s Podcast and claimed that the players involved in the News Orleans Saints bounty scandal aren’t ”bad men,” but they needed to be suspended.
“I think it’s unfortunate … that authority figures in the league implemented such a thing,” said Fitzgerald.
“I think Roger Goodell,...
Mike Leach on Craig James, Bill Snyder a sorcerer, and more
Mike Leach talks to fans on Reddit
Mike Leach. AP photo.
On Monday afternoon Washington State head coach Mike Leach took to the Internet to field questions from college football fans in a unique forum, Reddit. Leach was essentially unfiltered, although he was not able to comment on anything that would have been in violation of NCAA rules. But that left the door wide open for some...
Ryan Williams Progressing Well
Running back Ryan Williams is progressing well in his rehab from surgery on his right knee, according to the Cardinals' official team website.
Fantasy Spin:
The 2011 second-rounder went down with a torn patella tendon (plus sustained meniscus damage) before making his regular season debut, but it is encouraging that he is now able to run and make cuts and will be set to contribute...
Mike Leach signed “Swing Your Sword” with “CJK5H”
Via AwfulAnnouncing.comIt seems Mike Leach, the current coach at Washington State University and the author of Swing Your Sword, may have heard of the #RememberTheFive meme that Everyday Should Be Saturday‘s comment section created for Craig James. The meme originated when someone edited Craig James Wikipedia page to say “Craig James killed 5 hookers while at SMU” and it took...
Fantasy Value of the Cardinals Passing Attack
Everybody knows about Larry Fitzgerald. You probably took him early in the second round last year, which is roughly the same spot hes been taken for the last four to five years.
And if you did get Fitz, you werent disappointed. The former Pitt star racked up over 1,400 yards and eight touchdowns, elite numbers for a WR1.
But after Beanie Wells went down, the Arizona Cardinals...
Mike Leach signs book with reference to Craig James hooker rumor (Photo)
There’s a (likely false but nonetheless hilarious) Internet meme out there perpetuated by college football trolls that alleges former ESPN tool bag and soon-to-be failed Senate candidate Craig James killed five hookers during his playing days at SMU. Evidently, James’ arch enemy Mike Leach is in on the joke, too.
As you see in the above photo, Leach signed a copy of his book...
Cards' Kolb anxious to get out and play again
Quarterback Kevin Kolb's time in Arizona has already been tainted due to injuries, something he hopes to change during the 2012 season.
Cards Expected To Re-Sign DE Vonnie Holiday And LB Clark Haggans
Cardinals General Manager Rod Graves has acknowledged the club is interested in re-signing linebacker Clark Haggans and defensive end Vonnie Holliday according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. But the Cardinals aren't in any hurry to do so. The agents for those players said this week that nothing is happening and that their clients are both waiting it out. I would expect...
Cardinals Interested In Re-Signing LB Clark Haggans And DE Vonnie Holliday
Arizona Cardinals General Manager Rod Graves has acknowledged the club is interested in re-signing linebacker Clark Haggans and defensive end Vonnie Holliday. The Cardinals could use depth at outside linebacker and defensive end, but are tight against the cap right now. Haggans, 35, started all 16 games last season but, if he returns, it will be as a backup. Holliday, 36, backed...
Even Mike Leach knows Craig James killed 5 Hookers
It just proves, everyone knows. [Follow me @TravisHouser]
Mike Leach acknowledges the internet's hard work on that Craig James meme.
It was never whether or not Washington State head football coach Mike Leach knew about the rather nasty meme that his supporters started against his eternal foe, ex-ESPN analyst/current candidate for U.S. Senate Craig James. (You know, the one about James allegedly killing five hookers while he was SMU?) It was whether or not Leach would ever admit to knowing about it. Well...
Leach trims roster, with more coming
AFTER A MONTH OF spring workouts, Mike Leach is trimming his roster. With WSU needing to get to the NCAA-mandated 105-player limit by the start of fall camp, several have been cut and some are planning to leave. In all, WSU will trim around 20 in order to accommodate the incoming recruiting class, according to well-placed sources at WSU. Of the known departures, one is a scholarship athlete.
Mike Leach answers fan questions. Hilarity ensues
Regardless of how you feel about new Washington State coach Mike Leach, it’s hard not to argue that the man is one of a kind. From his “Air Raid” offense, to affinity with pirates and everything in between, there is no one in college football (or anywhere for that matter) quite like him. After all, this is a man that Urban Meyer recently referred to as a “certified nut job”…...
Swinging His Sword in the Most Amazing Way Possible
“To Nick, CJK5H, Mike Leach.” If you’re unfamiliar with Internet memes, you likely have no idea what this means. Certainly you know Mike Leach (the finest captain in all the land), you have no clue what the hell that code is in the center, and who the hell is Nick? Well, Nick is just a [...]
