Darnell Dockett is in the dog house. Defying the head coaches and spitting in your teammate's face isn't really a good idea. Which begs the question, is he wanted in Arizona anymore? The Arizona Cardinals season started off so well, going 4-0 and on their way to prominence again. Seems like almost a lifetime ago with the 4-9 team, who's latest dismal showing resulted in a 58-0 blowout at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. Dockett was a guest on XTRA 910 in Phoenix and was asked whether we'll be seeing him in a Cardinals uniform next season. “I have no idea. First of all I’m very thankful that the Arizona Cardinals have given me opportunities", he said. "From drafting me and to show my talent, I’m very thankful to the organization. If I’m not wanted somewhere then I will be happy somewhere else or however that situation may go down. To all the Cardinals fans, this was not my idea of me being traded or people thinking I might be traded and I came up with this or I said this. I never said that but at the end of the day I’m never going to be anywhere I’m not wanted or I’m not going to be somewhere where I’m treated unfairly. I want to be happy. I play with passion, I give everything I have on the field, I love what I do, I play injured a lot of times and I play through it, I don’t just sit out of games and watch my team go out there and play. Anything I can do to help this football team win I have done it and my record speaks for itself. At the end of the day if it comes down to that then I will take my talents somewhere else.” var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

  • The Cardinals have got to find a QB!! and a new COACH!! any coach who tells his defense to allow another team to score??? definately needs to leave. The Cardinals have no way of scoring!! so before u penalize Dockett think about what you asked your defense after they worked there asses off all game and then tell them to let the team score so we can get the ball back!!!! STUPID COACH!!!! and of course you see what happened 7 to 6!!! Really!!!!!
  • Players like Dockett and their "self-centered' attitudes are the Cardinals main problem. Gives all he can for the team, huh, he was the last player to buy into Horton's system of giving yourself up, so someone else can make the play for the TEAM. The best teams are made of not only talented guys, but those with their heads screwed on right. Who are actually willing to make sacrifices for the team. Someone should tell players like Dockett, Dansbury, etc.,,etc.,; there is no I in team. It is not about your number of sacks. The number of tackles one makes. IT IS ABOUT the TEAM. Can anyone say Patriots, Packers, Giants, Broncos, Texans, Steelers...............then there are teams like the Cardinals, Browns, Jets, Raiders..........and the circle of life goes on and on and on.................we need more Fitzgerald like players on the team, not Dockett's.
