Darnell Dockett is in the dog house. Defying the head coaches and spitting in your teammate's face isn't really a good idea. Which begs the question, is he wanted in Arizona anymore? The Arizona Cardinals season started off so well, going 4-0 and on their way to prominence again. Seems like almost a lifetime ago with the 4-9 team, who's latest dismal showing resulted in a 58-0 blowout at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. Dockett was a guest on XTRA 910 in Phoenix and was asked whether we'll be seeing him in a Cardinals uniform next season. “I have no idea. First of all I’m very thankful that the Arizona Cardinals have given me opportunities", he said. "From drafting me and to show my talent, I’m very thankful to the organization. If I’m not wanted somewhere then I will be happy somewhere else or however that situation may go down. To all the Cardinals fans, this was not my idea of me being traded or people thinking I might be traded and I came up w...
  • The Cardinals have got to find a QB!! and a new COACH!! any coach who tells his defense to allow another team to score??? definately needs to leave. The Cardinals have no way of scoring!! so before u penalize Dockett think about what you asked your defense after they worked there asses off all game and then tell them to let the team score so we can get the ball back!!!! STUPID COACH!!!! and of course you see what happened 7 to 6!!! Really!!!!!
  • Players like Dockett and their "self-centered' attitudes are the Cardinals main problem. Gives all he can for the team, huh, he was the last player to buy into Horton's system of giving yourself up, so someone else can make the play for the TEAM. The best teams are made of not only talented guys, but those with their heads screwed on right. Who are actually willing to make sacrifices for the team. Someone should tell players like Dockett, Dansbury, etc.,,etc.,; there is no I in team. It is not about your number of sacks. The number of tackles one makes. IT IS ABOUT the TEAM. Can anyone say Patriots, Packers, Giants, Broncos, Texans, Steelers...............then there are teams like the Cardinals, Browns, Jets, Raiders..........and the circle of life goes on and on and on.................we need more Fitzgerald like players on the team, not Dockett's.

Darnell Dockett could be on his way out of Arizona

According to, there’s a chance that both safety Adrain Wilson and defensive end Darnell Dockett won’t be with the Arizona Cardinals next season. With Cardinals veteran SS Adrian Wilson recently telling the local media that he thought his days could be numbered in the desert, could disgruntled DE Darnell Dockett soon be following suit? It appears Dockett...

Vince Young would be an upgrade for Cardinals

It's no secret that the Cardinals have one of the worst offensive lines in all of football, they have given up the most sacks out of any team in 2012 and fail to block for their running backs, making them have the worst running game in the NFL as well.  This is the exact reason why Vince Young would be the perfect fit for the Cardinals now.  Young is a fast mobile quarterback...

Darnell Dockett is unsure of his future with the Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals Darnell Dockett has said he’s not sure if he’ll be with the team next season. Dockett was fined $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team following an argument with teammate Kerry Rhodes during a loss to the New York Jets. When recently asked about the fie in an interview, Dockett had these comments: “It [...]

Cardinals elevate DT Lumpkin from practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals have elevated defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin from the practice squad and released guard-center Mike Gibson. Lumpkin spent the entire season on the practice squad after he was re-signed following his release by Arizona at the end of training camp on Aug. 31. Lumpkin spent his rookie season in 2011 on the Cardinals practice squad after he was signed as an undrafted...

Pick of the week: Lions (-5.5) at Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are playing some of the worst football in recent history. After somehow lucking their way into winning their first four games of the season, they have now rattled off nine straight losses and look to be going nowhere fast as they placed Kevin Kolb on the IR this week and anointed Ryan Lindley his replacement. The Cardinals are a team that will find themselves...

Report: Cardinals Might Be Interested In Todd Haley If They Fire Ken Whisenhunt

Jason La Canfora reported Sunday morning on the CBS Pregame show that if the Arizona Cardinals fire head coach Ken Whisenhunt after the season ends that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley would be their top choice to replace him. Haley of course was Cardinals offensive coordinator for two seasons prior to becoming the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs and...

Peterson, Johnson add subplot to Cards-Lions

TEMPE, Ariz. Patrick Peterson is still trying to make a name for himself in the NFL. And the Cardinals' second-year cornerback has no problem lobbying on his own behalf. When asked Friday about the challenge of facing Detroit Lions star receiver Calvin Johnson, who leads the NFL with 1,546 yards and is chasing Jerry Rices single-season NFL record, Peterson took what some might...

Eliminate the Suicide Week 15 – Arizona Turns Over Eighth Cardinal Sin: Losing

How in the world did Tampa Bay lose to Philadelphia?  Really, How?  Charlie Batch and Nick Foles have given me back-to-back losses.  Throw in an improbably Arizona win in week two and my three losses have come from some dreadful quarterback play.  I thought the quarterback position was supposed to be one of great importance, skill and leadership?  I guess sometimes – three...

Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals: Week 15 NFL Pick

Detroit Lions (4-9) at Arizona Cardinals (4-9) One of the most powerful trends is known as the six and six trend. This says that teams that finish 6-10 or worse struggle to cover as favorites of 6 or more, going 23-64 ATS since 2002. The Lions are currently 4-9 and need to win out to finish better than 6-10 and even if they win this week, there’s no way they’ll win out against...
