Darrelle Revis finally responded to Richard Sherman by calling out the boastful cornerback over Twitter Wednesday. Sherman developed a reputation last season as a big smack talker. He got into it with Tom Brady, Calvin Johnson, and both teams he faced in the playoffs. The Seattle Seahawks cornerback even seemed to suggest last month that he is better than Revis, whom many consider to be the best cornerback in the NFL. Revis has heard enough junk coming out of Sherman’s mouth and finally called him out for it: I never seen a man before run his mouth so much like girl. This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety @rsherman_25 — Darrelle Revis (@Revis24) February 20, 2013 Revis then seemed to say he was in a different class from Sherman, who should worry about Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White: @rsherman_25 I ain’t your competition bro, @roddywhitetv is!!! — Darrelle Revis (@Revis24) February 20, 2013 Revis brought up White because the Falcons receiver burned Sherman for a touchdown during the playoffs last month. Despite that fact, Sherman still called White “an easy matchup” during an NFL Network interview last week. Revis is recovering from a torn ACL suffered last season and has been mentioned in trade talks, which has had him grumpy. Sherman will have to put together several seasons in a row of shutdown corner-quality before he can be considered in the same class as Revis. • Richard your career is just beginning. You will get yours eventually. do you really think you are in the same class as Revis yet, You have no NFL MVP awards No pro bowl appearances yet. you are still a rookie. no disrespect but you need to earn yours first before patting yourself on the back
  • What has Revis really done except run his mouth like the rest of the worthless Jets? Revis has an MVP award? Revis is an OVERRATED POS who talks tough online. F him.
  • I agree... Bevis is WAY overrated. Every time he gets burned he grabs his hamstring.
  • Revis is just jealous he lost the top spot to someone younger and better. Revis WAS one of the best... Sherman took the top spot last year. He is better mentally and physically. He has beaten the reciever most games before the clock even starts. Not saying Revis isnt good. Revis just isnt good enough to bait the QB into throwing his way and take the ball away, Like Sherman can. Revis is a WAS. Sherman IS.
  • Richard Sherman is definitely a punk based on what I saw this season....a coward with a big mouth when he has 10 other teammates around...you are so lucky I don't play in the NFL or I would gladly take a flag for knocking your head off!

As for Revis, another big mouth crybaby who THINKS he is the best NFL player ever...but, he isn't....I would tweet this as you say....but to me, twitter is for twits!
  • I am suprised they can both read.
  • crazy huh? guess what! sherman is also going back to school to obtain his masters degree.
  • OMG, these two over paid idiots can't even speak proper English. How sad is that?
