The Jets are such a dysfunctional team. Revis is under contract and shouldn’t be speaking about helping other teams win the Super Bowl. I understand his position, since the Jets are openly trying to get rid of him. Here is what he had to say about going to the 49ers. “Well, you’ve got to tip your hat off to them for what they have done this past year. This is a team with a great coach, Harbaugh, and great players on their team. I mean, they (made a Super Bowl) without me last year,” Revis said. “Looking at their roster and their team, I would just be an addition to help them win that trophy. “Would it be awesome? I mean, yeah. My main goal as a player, and I think of all of us as players in the NFL, is to hold that Lombardi Trophy up in the air and to wear that ring.” Basically, he is saying he doesn’t think the Jets have a chance to get the “ring”. I maybe in the minority, but I would be more concern if I was a team trading for Revis, about how he is going to come back from his ACL injury. Adrian Peterson has made everyone feel like you can come back better than you were, but that could have been an anomaly. If a trade does happen, it will be closer to the time of the NFL Draft, until then believe nothing you hear.
