San Francisco 49ers safety Dashon Goldson told SiriusXM NFL Radio that he wants to re-sign with the 49ers.
“I still hope there’s a future for me in San Francisco but as far as the overall feeling, it feels good”, said Goldson, per the Cincinnati Enquirer. I really hope something works out in San Francisco, its home for me. We’re making good progress of bringing that tradition back. Right now, there has not been much talk. Hopefully something picks up and if they are not, I will be interested in what other teams would have to say.”
Goldson also made it clear that he’s ”open to pretty much anywhere,” when it comes to where he wants to play in 2013 if it ends up not being the 49ers.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter has already come out and said that Goldson is done in San Francisco and I think he knows that as well.
