Pro Football Zone:
The New York Giants got a piece of good news when it comes to their offensive line.
According to Paul Schwartz of the NY Post, offensive lineman David Diehl (thumb) has been cleared to play.
Diehl needed to get medical clearance on surgically-repaired right thumb and obviously got it, so he's on the trip to KC. #nyg

With both Chris Snee and David Baas out, this is fabulous news for Big Blue. I would expect Diehl to replace Snee at guard against the Chiefs on Sunday.

The New York Giants are heading to Kansas City with the most inexperienced offensive line in Tom Coughlin’s tenure as coach. Coughlin announced Friday that four-time Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee and center David Baas are listed as out for the game against the undefeated Chiefs (3-0) along with cornerback Corey Webster. David Wilson will […]
The New York Giants trailed 17-7 after three quarters, but they managed only one TD, on a 69-yard catch-and-run from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz.
After Sunday’s blow out loss the Chiefs, Giants quarterback Eli Manning was honest in his evaluation of their offense after only converting one of 14 third conversions. “It’s disappointing. Offensively we’re just not able to get into a rhythm,” said Manning, per the NY Daily News. Manning says their play makers are just not making plays. “I think we have play makers...
This has been the worst season for Tom Coughlin since he took over as head coach for the New York Giants in January, 2004. It’s the Giants worst season start since 1996. Week 3 just added to the dismal season they have encountered, getting shut out 38-0 by the Carolina Panthers. The worst start to season in Coughlin’s tenure mixed with the worst defeat in the same period of time...
There haven't been many highlights for the Giants this season, but Victor Cruz's 69-yard touchdown temporarily gave the Big Blue faithful a glimmer of hope.
In the second quarter, quarterback Eli Manning took the snap, stepped back in the pocket and lofted a pass down the right sideline to Cruz. Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson was beaten deep on a double move, and the third...
Dexter McCluster scored on an 89-yard punt return for a touchdown Sunday in the third quarter against the New York Giants to give Kansas City a 17-7 lead, and then he decided to mock one of his opponents. After scoring by breaking tackles and weaving through defenders, McCluster did the Victor Cruz salsa dance in […]
Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks saw nine targets Sunday after getting shut out in Week 3, but he caught just three of them for 33 yards.Fantasy Spin:Nicks was frustrated after last week's zero-catch effort, saying he has no control over who Eli Manning throws the ball to. Manning threw it to Nicks more often on Sunday but it did not yield the desired results. Nicks has just 12 catches...
This is becoming a weekly trend as the Giants were embarrassed again, this time by the Kansas City Chiefs 31-7. This marks the 4th consecutive loss to start the season (1st time since 1987) and also the 4th consecutive time the Giants defense has surrendered 30+ points to their opponent. The Giants were actually still in the game after the 3rd quarter (17-7) despite being outplayed...
You smell that? Smells like a poor Kansas City Chiefs defender getting absolutely roasted by Victor Cruz on this 69-yard TD. It was the Giants first touchdown since the 4th quarter of Week 2.

The New York Giants and Kansas City Chiefs meet in a match-up of teams with opposite records.
Few would have thought that the Giants would enter this game 0-3, even less would have envisioned the Chiefs as 3-0 under new coach Andy Reid.
FOX will have coverage of this game beginning at 1:00 pm ET (12:00 pm CT) from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO
The Odds: The Kansas City Chief...
With both Chris Snee and David Baas nursing injuries, New York Giants will probably continue to play the next man up against the Kansas City Chiefs.
New York Giants (0-3) at Kansas City Chiefs (3-0)
The Giants are an NFL worst -9 in turnovers, while the Chiefs are an NFL best +9 in turnovers. Therefore, the Chiefs should dominate the turnover battle and win this game right? Well, that’s not necessarily true. Turnover margin tends to be very inconsistent on a week to week (and year to year) basis. For example, teams who win...
Nothing seems to be going right for the New York Giants and defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins thinks that the team's problems are more mental than physical.
At 0-3 and staring 0-4 in the eyes, the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants are in dire strait. Both offenses have been woefully inept, and despite some bright spots on defense, neither team can make up for their offenses’ lack of production.
With an 0-3 start, a team has some time to fight its way back into the playoff hunt. At 0-4, the playoffs are still possible, but with...
