Pro Football Zone:
On Wednesday, Miami Dolphins quarterback David Garrard told the local South Florida media that even though he’s been working with the first-team offense, he’s been splitting reps with Matt Moore, per Rotoworld.com.
“You guys (reporters) always get here when I’m working with the ones,” Garrard said. “If you come tomorrow, then Matt will be with the ones. And I’m sure the story will be, ‘David lost his starting job and now it’s Matt.’ We’re both taking equal reps. You guys have just been here when I’ve been with the ones.”
There’s no doubt that even though Garrard is working with the first-team that the Dolphins quarterback competition is still wide open. I would guess that the starting job will come down to Garrard and Moore at this point.
