It was clearly light-hearted, but that didn't make it any less weird to see two embattled young New York Giants take shots at each other on Twitter Thursday night. After all, the Giants are 0-6 and Wilson and Randle -- picked first and second in last year's draft -- have both made a few notable mistakes along the way.  It all started when Randle retweeted Wilson's fairly positive tweet, adding "hell up."   Hell upRT @4stillRunning: Make sure y'all ride around and get it #allday — Rueben Randle (@RuebenRandle) October 15, 2013   I'm old, so I had to look this up. But Urban Dictionary says it essentially means "shut up."  This is what ensued... @RuebenRandle hey randle u suck ur on the bench of ma fantasy team — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 15, 2013 Randle responded with a picture... RT @4stillRunning: @RuebenRandle hey randle u suck ur on the bench of ma fantasy team pic.twitter.com/NispZShrOd — Rueben Randle (@RuebenRandle) October 15, 2013 Which garnered this response... @RuebenRandle get off twitter and get in your play book u bum — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 15, 2013 Then things got sort of awesome... @4stillRunning u go get in urs! Oh wait...u might fumble it — Rueben Randle (@RuebenRandle) October 16, 2013 He went there. And he went here... @RuebenRandle drop another pass and I'm DROPPING U from my fantasy team #butterfingers — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 16, 2013 And it went on... @RuebenRandle wait didn't u fumble twice??? Stop pouting and get up and run ..your a waste of talent!!! — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 16, 2013 And on... @4stillRunning ain't nutn wrong with yo neck. B Jacobs just punk'd u out ur spot — Rueben Randle (@RuebenRandle) October 16, 2013 Finally, the kill shot... @RuebenRandle and Eli has Rueben wide open.... — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 16, 2013 And the final response... @4stillRunning "Wilson takes the kickoff. He has room on the sideline (crowd cheers). He cuts back...FUUMMBBLLLEEE!!" — Rueben Randle (@RuebenRandle) October 16, 2013 They clarified that they were basically just having fun... On a serious note me, @RuebenRandle and THE GIANTS love the game and winning We make mistakes but know we always play hard for the Team/Fans — David E. Wilson (@4stillRunning) October 16, 2013 But that didn't make this any less entertaining for fans following along, mainly because it was sort of a peak inside the locker room. Would it have been easier for fans to laugh about if the Giants were 6-0, rather than 0-6? Sure, but let's keep in mind that these guys are both 22 years old. Tom Coughlin might prefer that they razz each other being close doors, but they don't deserve to take heat for this.  I'm betting they still will....
