The New York Giants have released a statement regarding the health of running back David Wilson and his injured neck. The good news is that Wilson’s neck is getting better, but he’s not ready to get back on the field. Running back David Wilson, who has been sidelined with a herniated disc in his neck since October 6, underwent an MRI today at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Wilson was also re-evaluated by team physicians Dr. Russell Warren and Dr. Frank Cammisa. The determination was made that while there has been significant improvement with the herniation, Wilson is still not clear to resume football activities. Wilson will undergo another evaluation in several weeks. Even though the Giants will have to activate Andre Brown this week,  it doesn’t look like Wilson will be placed on injured reserve yet.   Need NFL Tickets? Loading...
