The Houston Texans have started to make small waves during free agency, but starting with one of their own unrestricted free agents. Soon after that new the biggest fish was caught for the Texans of the 2013 free agency period.   Day Nine The Texans brought back unrestricted free agent Brice McCain to be the teams third (nickel) cornerback. Lechler is considered one, if not, of the greatest punters in NFL history.  It will be interesting to see the money Lechler wants to join the Texans, but it might not be that big of an upgrade over last seasons punter Donnie Jones. -Also, Houston’s full court press Ed Reed finally paid off after he is finalizing his deal with the Texans to be the starting safety in 2013. -The Texans and the Chicago Bears a competing for the services of free agent tight end Steve Maneri.
