Day Two: Morning Update

A quick update from the Land of Cort. Quarterbacks — It looks like Sanchez had a rough morning, but so did Clemens. While Clemens might have been better at finding targets, it sounds like he also threw more picks. Late in practice, Clemens had two interceptions thrown to Jim Leonhard, one Leonhard flipped to Lito Shepphard for a nifty long touchdown. Sanchez had a pick and then might have been told to use his checkdowns and he proceeded to dump it off on four successive throws. At this point, it’s hard to know what to think about the QBs, but it’s clear that it’s anyone’s game at this point. Still should neither stand out, I assume they’ll go with Sanchez and take their lumps early in the season. Jenkins Injured — It’s not known how severe it is yet … and apparently he gave the reporters a thumbs up on the way off the field, but Jenkins came off the field with a leg injury of some kind.
