Antwan Odom shot in Alabama

Free agent defensive end Antwan Odom was shot early Monday morning in Alabama, WKRG TV reported. The report said Odom has an injury that is not life-threatening after the incident in Irvington around 4:30 a.m. local time. Odom, 29, played collegiately at Alabama before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2004. He had 12.5 sacks in four seasons with the Titans before moving on to the Cincinnati Bengals. Odom was limited by injuries to 10 games over the last two seasons. He became a free agent when the lockout ended and has not signed with any team.
