Andre Carter Likely Needs Surgery : That’s just great.
Andre Carter has been arguably New England’s best defender as he’s tallied up 10 sacks in 14 games for the Patriots. However according to that report, it “looks like Carter has a quad-related injury that will require surgery.”

Washington Redskins receiver Santana Moss is in hot water with the IRS.
According to the Detroit News, the IRS filed a tax lien claiming that Moss owes $258,000 in taxes related to his 2006 earnings.
Moss, 32, earned $1.9 million that year.

Much of the intrigue happened yesterday, with the Patriots announcing five downgrades upon landing in Denver. One of those was WR Deion Branch, who had battled a groin injury. We debated who the No. 2 receiver will be earlier today.
