Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has had a hard time getting along with the media lately. Earlier this week, reporters asked Hall for his thoughts on the $30,000 fine he received stemming from his on-field altercation with an official during an Oct. 28 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Back up off me, bro,” he reportedly said without breaking stride as he left the field following practice.
On Tuesday, it supposedly got worse. Rich Campbell of the Washington Times reported that Hall got into a “profane, non-physical confrontation” with Washington Post writer Mike Jones at the Redskins facility, during which Hall had to be restrained by defensive backs coach Raheem Morris. Campbell also noted that DeAngelo and Jones later met to calmly discuss the incident.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Hall was angry about a quote included in a piece Jones wrote last week about Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett holding one-on-one meetings with Washington’s defensive backs ...
