TEAMS: Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals
The Washington Redskins aren’t taking Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Nick Foles lightly, Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said Wednesday.
“This kid is in this league for a reason,” Hall said in the locker room at Redskins Park. “He’s waiting for his chance to get out there and play. It just so happens to come against us…. Our coaches coached him in the Senior Bowl. They definitely told us the kid can make every throw. It’s not like we’re going out there against a guy that can’t throw the ball at all.
“Like I said, we’ve still got to go out there and execute against an NFL-caliber quarterback. We just haven’t seen a lot of film on him. But we’ll go out there and we’ll treat him like he’s an NFL quarterback, like he is. It’s nice not to have to worry about Mike [Vick] running around a little bit, extending some plays. So that will be a little bit to our advantage.”
Foles appears set to make his first NFL start Sunday against the Redskins at FedEx Field, with Vick likel

Napoleon Dynamite is Starting at QB for the Philadelphia Eagles This Weekend
Respect to TerezOwens for publishing this picture of Nick Foles. Foles is set to start for the first time in his NFL career when the Philadelphia Eagles travel to D.C. to take on RG III and the Washington Redskins this weekend. Not a bad team to debut against seeing the ‘Skins couldn’t stop me on offense. Let’s just hope Foles doesn’t play like Dynamite.
Report: Foles to start in place of injured Vick
Rookie Nick Foles will start in place of Michael Vick at quarterback Sunday for the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick suffered what coach Andy Reid described as a "significant" concussion last week and was ruled out of Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, according to multiple reports Friday. Vick hasn't practiced with the team this week. Foles, a third-round...

1. Danario Alexander is a Near Must-Own in 12-Team Leagues
His knees probably don't have long before they start to flare up again, but until they do, Alexander should be owned in most formats now that he's emerged in San Diego. He played more snaps than any other Charger receiver against Tampa Bay on Sunday and, given the ineptitude of the players around him, it's an...

Michael Vick misses practice, Nick Foles expected to start
Michael Vick is not expected to start Sunday by anyone… but the Philadelphia Eagles have not confirmed anything. Vick remains at home resting following a concussion sustained in last weekends game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Meet the new turnover machine
So with nominal starting QB Michael Vick concussed, the smattering of people who still admit to watching the Eagles get to see rookie QB Nick Foles, the first rookie QB to throw a touchdown for the team since, well, I'd look it up but who gives a flying fart at a rolling doughnut... um, right, let's end this sentence... play the Redskins next...
The Worst Thing That Could Possibly Happen for the Redskins in the Eagles Vs. Cowboys Happened
When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went down with a concussion this past Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys I’m sure there was a grouping of Redskins fans who let out a cheer. After all, in spite of his dismal play this season (serves him right for declaring the Eagles a dynasty before they had won anything) Vick is still one of those players who can take over a game...
