A female Pittsburgh Steelers fan dared to show up at the Tuesday victory parade for the Baltimore Ravens, who beat the San Francisco 49ers Sunday in Super Bowl XLVII to capture their second Lombardi trophy, and was treated just as you would expect her to be treated. CSNBaltimore.com has the video report that you can watch below. In the report it is stated that the crowd first chanted, "Go home" to the fan followed by a loud "Steelers suck" chant. In other news from Baltimore on Tuesday, three people were stabbed, one fatally, near the route of the parade, according to a report in the Baltimore Read more [...]

Ray Rice falls off parade float

Ray Rice had a bit of a miscue during the Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl victory parade on Tuesday. As you can see in the video above, Rice fell off a float at some point during the parade. Rice actually told WFAN’s Boomer & Carton about the incident during an interview on Wednesday. “You know, the float stopped short and I fell off of it, but I caught myself,” Rice told...

Merril Hoge says Joe Flacco is the best quarterback in the NFL right now (Video)

ESPN NFL analyst Merril Hoge went on Sportscenter this morning and claimed that Joe Flacco is the best quarterback in the NFL right now. I agree with Hoge, but Flacco won’t be the best next season.     Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter...

John Harbaugh on Lombardi Trophy: “We thought we’d lost it.”

Jim Harbaugh celebrates with the Lombardi Trophy moments after winning the biggest game of his coaching career. (Associated Press) There’s all kinds of bizarre Super Bowl stories swirling after the big game every year because, well, it’s big. On top of Joe Flacco heading to Disney World, and safety Bernard Pollard saying he played with six broken ribs, there was also some bizarre...

Ravens face an uphill battle to repeat Super Bowl victory

It was an uphill battle for the Baltimore Ravens all season long, but they were at the top of the NFL pile when it mattered most. Now, 32 NFL teams are in the process of hitting the reset button as they collectively move forward towards the 2013 draft. For the Ravens, the coming weeks are about celebration, but there's also work to be done in the front office.  As it stands...

Super Bowl XLVII is in the books as the Baltimore Ravens hoist the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in franchise history. There will be many tough decisions for the Ravens to make in coming weeks regarding their personnel. Veteran S Ed Reed told reporters last night, that unlike teammate Ray Lewis, he will not be retiring after this season. Reed, 34, said in his post-game comments...

Caption the Photo: The Ray Lewis Super Bowl Cry Faces

Thank the Lord (no weapon) that Dick Vermeil wasn’t the coach of the Ravens, they would have run out of tissue for all the tears.  Part tears of joy and part tears for the camera, but regardless of what you think of Ray Lewis personally he went out on top. That is all you can hope for as an elite athlete. Ray Lewis was blessed with a long productive (controversial at times) career...

This Artist Pretty Much Got Steelers-Giants and Chargers-Steelers Right

Deadspin brings us this awesome blog where Pixar animator Austin Madison sketched previews for certain NFL games all season. Our Steelers were featured twice, first for Steelers-Giants. In that game, the refs helped New York to an early lead, only for the Steelers to come back for a late 4-point win. The Giants had -9 yards of offense in the 4th Quarter. And then there was Ryan...

D’Qwell Jackson: I wear No. 52 because of Ray Lewis

When a linebacker comes into the NFL, it’s like a receiver who wants to wear 80 because of Jerry Rice, or a running back who wants to wear 22 because of Emmitt Smith. I always wanted to wear 52 because of Ray Lewis. Ask Patrick Willis why he wears 52. It’s a tribute to the best we’ve ever seen. Just seeing his passion for the game, every game, was enough for me. Anytime I see...

The new Super Bowl Champions, the Baltimore Ravens, are upbeat for more good news today with the optimistic outlook that Haloti Ngata will not require surgery on his left knee, The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson reported Monday.
