• As you may have gathered from the headline, Brett Favre believes he currently has a cracked rib. Give it an hour or so, and I suspect that he'll tell everyone that the rib is perfectly fine. I suspect that the injury is no big deal, though, as Favre says he still plans to play an entire half tonight against the Texans, and won't wear any special padding. I'm not saying that a cracked rib is no big deal -- I've never had one, and if I had, I suspect it would've made me cry -- but Favre is treating it like it's nothing serious. Maybe it is, though, and Brett Favre(notes) is just really tough.
