Against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football, the Chicago Bears' defense was outstanding, forcing four turnovers, three of which came in the red zone.

Brandon Marshall has some words for Ndamukong Suh

After watching Jay Cutler get slammed to the turf by Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh during last night’s game, Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall went on Twitter and called Suh out.A Suh. What u did to Jay wasn’t cool. Great players don’t have to do that.— Brandon Marshall (@BMarshall) October 23, 2012A Suh. Something I’ve learned and now passing down to you. Succeed...

Bears' Marshall mad at Lions' Suh

Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall isn't happy with Ndamukong Suh and his violent play on Monday night.

NFL Rumors: How Bad Is Ndamukong Suh If Brandon Marshall Is Offering Character Advice?

Whenever the Detroit Lions play the Chicago Bears, there is guaranteed to be some hard hits that result in many bumps and bruises. And I don’t just mean to the players on a physical front. I mean bruised egos as well. That is what happens when two rivals play each other with a lot at stake. Last night was no different when the Bears defeated the Lions on Monday Night Football,...

Lions offense struggles in loss to Bears

CHICAGO (AP) -- There was a big gasp going through the stadium as Jay Cutler writhed in pain on the field. He got up and the defense provided a big lift. Cutler returned after bruising his ribs, and Brian Urlacher made a key fumble recovery to help the Chicago Bears beat the Detroit Lions 13-7 on Monday night for their fourth straight win. It was certainly not an easy night for...

Chicago Bears: In the Discussion For NFC’s Best?

After I wrote yesterday about how it appears to be the Houston Texans and everyone else in the AFC, over on the other side, the NFC is becoming a bloodbath. The Packers are still the Packers, Atlanta is undefeated, San Francisco has a defense that any team would be envious of and the Giants look every bit capable of repeating last season’s success. But after improving to 5-1 last...

Game Recap: Bears’ Defense Dominates In 13-7 Victory Over Detroit

The Chicago Bears beat the Detroit Lions 13-7 on Monday night improving to 5-1 on the 2012 NFL season. The Bears defense picked up where it left off against the Jaguars two weeks ago, forcing the Lions to go three-and-out on their first possession and the Bears’ offense capitalized on a six-play drive that led to a seven-yard touchdown catch by Brandon Marshall. The home crowd...

Detroit Lions: What Happened to Super Expectations?

In the preseason, I wrote about Bill Ford Jr. making the prediction that the Lions would win the Super Bowl this season. I then also added, hastily, that it might not be that crazy of a thought. Everything about the Lions showed that their needle was indeed pointing up. Yet, here we are six games into the 2012 campaign and Detroit is in familiar territory; the basement of the NFC...

Lions-Bears Live Blog, First Half

The two previous prime time games that featured the Bears this season were nothing if not amusing. There was Chicago’s Week 2 loss to Green Bay, that was hyped with Jay Cutler wishing the Packers secondary “good luck” against his passing attack, which only made Catler’s four interceptions and dressing down of his linemen that night all the more hilarious. Cutty was soundly...

Lions-Bears Live Blog, Second Half

Well the Lions can’t play offense, suck at defending the pass, but they are doing a pretty good job of containing Matt Forte, so hooray for small triumphs. Even though Detroit is being thoroughly outplayed, they’re still very much in the game, thanks in part to Lawrence Jackson blocking a Robbie Gould field goal attempt. There’s plenty of blame to share for Detroit’s poor...
