The Los Angeles Rams receiver corps will be headlined by Cooper Kupp again, but there are some intriguing options behind him for the 2023 season.

Van Jefferson appears to be the clear No. 2 behind Kupp, with players like Tutu Atwell and Ben Skowronek expected to have bigger roles as well. There’s also Puka Nacua, who has been impressive during training camp and preseason.

However, Demarcus Robinson also should see his fair share of snaps as the veteran has been able to fit in like a glove with the roster. Robinson spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens, but should find that he’ll have more opportunities to contribute in Los Angeles who favors a more pass-friendly scheme.

Ahead of the new season, Robinson expressed how excited he is to be with the Rams, via Stu Jackson of TheRams.com:

“Feels great just to be a part of organization,” Robinson told theRams.com. “Very thankful and glad to be a part of this organization. We’re learning a lot right now, I’m learning a lot right now. It’s getting pretty easy as we go through it. I’m just ready to go out and make plays man, show the team and show Rams nation what I can do.”

The wideout also revealed that he’s motivated to show the organization and the fans that he can still be productive and that he’s looking forward to making an impact on the field:

Robinson said that when the opportunity to sign with the Rams arose this summer, he was “excited” and “just trying to come out and show that I have a lot of juice left in me.” That became apparent throughout Los Angeles’ training camp practices in Irvine, with his aggressive and acrobatic catches standing out early on.

“Just coming to show out and make plays, let ’em know that I’m still able to what I can do and what I’ve been doing,” Robinson said.

Throughout the summer, Robinson has impressed teammates and coaches with his acrobatic ability and speed. Those two traits have made him an intriguing downfield option and a much-needed dimension of the Sean McVay’s passing attack.

With Los Angeles expected to be in negative game scripts for most of 2023, having someone like Robinson who can hit a home run play should be a massive boost. Despite lower expectations for the Rams, players like Robinson still have something to play for and it’ll be exciting to see what he can do.
