Dallas Cowboys Pro-Bowl defensive end DeMarcus Ware appeared
on Sportscenter talking about the Cowboys preparation for the upcoming season.
He said the Cowboys need to be more like the Giants in being
able to win games in the fourth quarter.
Ware also said that it will take “11 or 12” wins for a team
to be crowned NFC East champions.
Let’s dissect the NFC East. The Giants are defending Super
Bowl champions; the Cowboys are on a vengeance; the Eagles made things interesting
last year after a rough start; and the Redskins are eager to show off their new
prize: Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
Last year, the Giants only needed nine wins to take home the
NFC East crown. However, this year, I agree with Ware in that it will take a
few more wins to reach the playoffs and host a home game.
Maybe 10 wins will be enough for a wild card spot, but this
