Since coming into the league in 2005, DeMarcus Ware has known nothing but Chris Samuels when he's had to prepare for the Redskins.
Samuels is out for the year with a neck injury, so maybe he and Ware can have a conversation this week. They share the same financial advisor and have become friendly over the years.
"But we don't talk the week of the game," Ware said. "We'll talk after and say, 'I got you on this play,' or something like that."
In eight games against the Redskins, Ware has six sacks and all six have come in the last six meetings. He has sacked Jason Campbell three times, Mark Brunell twice and Todd Collins once.
Instead of Samuels, Ware will work mostly against Levi Jones. If he moves to the left side, he will face Stephon Heyer, who has allowed 7.5 sacks this season, a league high.
