Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos officially started Organized Team Activities (OTAs) Monday at Dove Valley. The place was buzzing with excitement as old and new Broncos got acquainted during their first official workout with coach Luke Richesson, the new strength and conditioning coach.
The start of OTAs weren't the only news coming out of Dove Valley today as they were also very active in free agency. The Broncos re-signed restricted free agent receiver Matt Willis. Willis has spent the last three years with the Broncos and played in all 16 games last season. Matt is an undrafted free agent who originally signed with the Baltimore Ravens in 2007 and ended up with the Broncos in 2009.
The Broncos also signed veteran wide receiver and former Peyton Manning teammate Brandon Stokley to a one year deal. This will the Stokley's second stint with the Broncos and reunites him with his good friend. Stokley spent 4 seasons with Peyton Manning in Indianapolis from 2003 to 2006 an...

DENVER- From that infamous footage of his fight with his longtime center Jeff Saturday to the way he controls the field, it’s impossible to buy into the idea that Peyton Manning honestly believes that he’s just a regular Joe on a 52 man roster.
That seems to be the approach he is taking to life in his new digs in Denver or at least that is what he’s projecting.
It could be...
The 2011 season ended in a Mile High heartbreak for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas connected on an 80-yard TD play on the first play from scrimmage in OT in a wild-card game to cut short a Steelers’ season far short of expectations.
The Steelers won’t have to wait long for another crack at Denver – although a very different QB will be under center...
The Denver Broncos are going to be busy transforming themselves into Peyton Manning's football team and they took another step in that direction Tuesday, signing former Colt and Bronco Brandon Stokley.
Manning and Stokley know each other well from their time together in Indy from 2003-06. Stokley was a key player in the Colts offense as a slot receiver and helped Manning put...
The official release of the 2012 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule remains a few hours away but Gerry Dulac has reported via Twitter that the Steelers will indeed open up the 2012 season in Denver against the Denver Broncos and new quarterback Peyton Manning. The Broncos have been speculated as a possible week one opponent of the Steelers for the last several weeks.
The Steelers lost...
Brandon Stokley, who made one of the most famous catches in Broncos history, is returning to Denver to play with old friend Peyton Manning.
Stokley signed a one-year deal with the Broncos Monday. In June, he'll turn 36, the same age as Manning, whom he played with in Indianapolis from 2003-06.
Stokley's first stint with the Broncos (2007-09) was best known for his '...
The Denver Broncos will release defensive tackle Ryan McBean on Monday, Mike Klis of The Denver Post reports. McBean does not have an existing contract, but received a restricted free agent tender at the "Original Round" level, which would have paid him at a rate of $1.26 million in non-guaranteed base salary in 2012. Over the last three seasons with the Broncos, the 6...
Free agent wide receiver Brandon Stokley will catch once again catch passes from Peyton Manning, agreeing to a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos, Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports. Financial terms were not disclosed. Stokley spent four seasons in the middle of his career with Manning and the Indianapolis Colts, catching 139 passes for 1,916 yards and 15 touchdowns...

The top story today is reading that the NFL intends to crack down on unruly fans next season, which is bad news for the Oakland Raiders – they already have a tough enough time filling half their stadium, now the other half will likely end up banned for life. Tough luck.
Ten things I think I think...
Gotta love this time of year when everyone pretends like they can count wins and losses based on some preconceived notions of what teams are and what they will be for 17 straight weeks! NFL.com isn’t very optimistic about the Browns chances.
Let’s play “Find the win so the Browns can avoid going 0-16.” They’ll be huge underdogs in every game they play against much more...
The Peyton Manning show comes to town for the second Monday night game of the season, and all eyes will be on Atlanta. High-profile matchups don't end there; the Falcons also get to run through the NFC East, visiting the Eagles and hosting the Cowboys and Giants. And two late-season matchups against the Saints present a chance to take down the perennial division leaders at perhaps...
The Texans will play a franchise-record five games on national television in 2012, including on Thanksgiving Day for the first time in team history.
The NFL released team schedules Tuesday evening and the Texans will be prominently featured, with two Sunday night games, two Monday night games and a Thanksgiving match-up at the Detroit Lions.
For the fourth consecutive season the...
One of the first things I used to find myself doing when the NFL schedule would come out is run through the Monday Night Football schedule to see what were the must-see games and which ones were merely there to take up space on the schedule.
Now, NFL fans everywhere give much the same treatment to the NFL's new marquee game, the Sunday Night game.
And with all apologies...
While everyone likely will be gunning for them, things get especially tough starting in Week 8. After visiting Peyton Manning and the Broncos, the Saints have to deal with the Eagles, 49ers and Giants, and play the rival Falcons twice. Cam Newton and the Panthers will be looking to put an exclamation point on a tough year for the Saints in Week 17.
Week 1 Sun, Sept. 9 vs. Washington...
The 2012 NFL Schedule has been released, as all 32 teams now know who they are playing and when each game will take place. It is always interesting to see which teams dominate the primetime slate, as well as when divisional foes first meet each other for bragging rights throughout the regular season.
While the Super Bowl champion New York Giants open up the 2012 NFL regular season...
