Found December 15, 2012 on The Football Fan Spot:
Denver Broncos (10-3) at Baltimore Ravens (9-4) Before losing to the Steelers at home a few weeks ago, the Ravens had ripped off 16 straight home wins, dating back to 2010. Given that, it’s kind of weird to see them as home dogs here. It’s also kind of funny to see how far this team has fallen in the last two weeks thanks to two losses. I had been saying they weren’t as good as their record all season, but the way the public has soured on this team in just 2 weeks is a little bit of an overreaction. It’s almost like they’ve become underrated for being overrated, that people have called them overrated so many times that we’ve forgotten they’re not a bad team. This line was Denver -1.5 a week ago and two weeks ago, they probably would have been favored. In spite of this, the public is pounding the Broncos. I love fading the public because the public always loses money in the long run. Good teams tend to bounce back off a loss and the Ravens are no exception. In fact, on the rare occas...

Knowshon Moreno Hurdles Ed Reed as Broncos Dominate Ravens (Animation)

Knowshon Moreno sees your voracious defense, Baltimore, and he’s going to — well, he’s going to hurdle it. Moreno showed no fear in the face of safety Ed Reed on Sunday as the Broncos staked an early lead. When the legendary Baltimore defender came into his path as Moreno was taking off down the field, Moreno used his legs to jump over Reed and just kept on going. Check it...

Ray Lewis will not play Sunday

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis was hopeful to play against the Denver Broncos.  But according to NFL Network's Michelle Beisner the Ravens will not activate Lewis for Sunday's game. Lewis has been out since mid-October with a torn triceps that could have ended his season and possibly his career.  But it sounds like he will play in the Ravens Week 16 game against...

Ray Rice Expected To Play Through Sore Hip

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray is dealing with a sore hip, but it's not expected to keep him off the field.Fantasy Spin:Rice posted his third 100-yard game of the season last week and has carried the ball at least 20 times in three of the last four Ravens games. Start him without worry as Baltimore would be smart to use him to keep the ball out of Peyton Manning's hands.

Knowshon Moreno hurdles Ed Reed (GIF)

During today’s Broncos – Ravens game, Denver running back Knowson Moreno pulled one of the most impressive plays of the season when he hurdled Ravens safety Ed Reed.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter...

Broncos 34, Ravens 17: Instant Reactions

Knowshon Moreno hurdles Ed Reed in Baltimore in a 34-17 Broncos win. (Ben Hays/Denver Broncos) THIS is the statement we needed to make this season! It hardly matters that we allowed a ridiculous garbage time TD (I mean, 4 missed tackles, are you kidding me?), we still put this game away before halftime! Heck, we even had a Brock Osweiler sighting, but more importantly is that the...

Ravens Injury Report: Terrell Suggs, Jimmy Smith, Ed Dickson

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith and linebacker Terrell Suggs were full participants in Friday’s practice and are considered questionable to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos, while tight end Ed Dickson is doubtful to suit up. While they’re listed as questionable, it would appear that Smith and Suggs are set to play against the Broncos considering they practiced...

Ravens hammered by the Broncos

This past week, the Baltimore Ravens decided it was time to part ways with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, installing Jim Caldwell as the interim coordinator. The results on Sunday were less than impressive. To be fair to the Ravens, the Broncos are one of the hottest teams in football, and Peyton Manning has been there, done that. Still, it was shocking to check up on the...

Report: Suggs announces marriage

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs is a married man. Suggs posted the announcement with a photograph of himself and longtime girlfriend Candace Williams on his Facebook page.

Pivotal game for Ravens against Peyton's Broncos...

Pete S., the UPS driver who has serviced my day job account for almost ten years now, is an extremely knowledgeable football fan. And Pete loves his Ravens. So when Pete tells you winning the game coming up Sunday, Dec. 16 between the Ravens (9-4) and the Denver Broncos (10-3) is more important than winning next week's game over the New York Giants, he is referring to the...
