Even before it was announced that the Denver Broncos were going to put Tim Tebow on the trading block, the Denver Broncos were "quietly shopping" Tebow around at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, according to a report from the Florida Times-Union.This would indicate that after the Broncos lost to the New England Patriots in the 2012 NFL Playoffs, the team didn't want to keep Tebow, going into the 2012-2013 NFL season.Remember, Manning wasn't release from the Indianpolis Colts two weeks after the NFL Combine, which means that the Broncos -- had they gotten Peyton Manning or not -- wanted to get rid of Tebow. There's an idea that "if" Tebow had stayed in Denver, he could have lost a quarterback competition with a second string or a third string QB.
