In news that will only annoy Broncos fans, DT Ty Warren is likely out for the season after re-aggravating the torn triceps that knocked him out all of the 2011 season.

Warren re-injured himself in the second quarter. Warren had surprisingly won out on the starting defensive tackle job after missing the entire 2010 and 2011 campaigns due to injuries. Before Sunday night's game, Warren had not played in an actual NFL game since January of 2010 when he was a member of the New England Patriots.

The Broncos initially signed Warren in the off-season of 2011, after the Patriots had released him. He quickly suffered a triceps injury early on in training camp that would knock him out for all of 2011.

After Warren re-aggravated his triceps injury in the second quarter, backup Kevin Vickerson took over in his spot. It is likely that Justin Bannan and Vickerson will be the two starting defensive tackles from here on out, with Mitch Unrein and the recently re-signed Sealver Siliga remaining as the backups.

With Warren's injury and a roster spot open, the Broncos have signed center Dan Koppen, also formerly of the New England Patriots, and also expect to re-sign backup quarterback Caleb Hanie. It remains to be seen who will be cut to open up a spot for Hanie.
