The Miami Dolphins narrowed their head coaching search earlier this week to three candidates and Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy believes he is the front-runner for the new job. McCoy received his second interview with the Dolphins this week. The two other candidates under consideration are Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin and current interim head coach Todd Bowles.
McCoy had an interview scheduled with the Oakland Raiders, but he feels so confident that the head coaching job with the Miami Dolphins will be his, he withdrew his name from consideration by the Oakland Raiders. All three candidates have now finished their second interview with the Miami franchise.
