The Denver Broncos claimed their second consecutive AFC West title Sunday with their 31-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Winning the AFC West is nice, but they want more. The Broncos didn't even celebrate the accomplishment in the locker room after the game. "No, just that we did acknowledge it because it was one of our goals," Broncos coach John Fox said via The Denver Post. "It's just a starting point for us, really." "This is just Step 1," Elvis Dumervil said. "There's more, for sure." Manning did his part Sunday throwing three touchdown passes, one to defensive tackle Mitch Unrein, and two to Demaryius Thomas.  Manning also completed one of his most remarkable passes of the season when he hit Knowshon Moreno, who was on the ground just past the first down marker. The Broncos may have Peyton Manning, but their defense is the game changer.   "It's all about the guys up front," Bailey said. "That's the biggest difference with this defense compared to other years here. When you can stop the run and get pressure? Anything can happen." Manning was asked if he had ever had as good as a defense as he does in Denver. "It's really hard to compare," Manning said. "That's a lot of years, a lot of teams. But our defense has been steady. That's a good offense over there, too, today. I mean, Josh Freeman is a good quarterback, and they have some playmakers over there." The Broncos next goal after clinching the AFC West title is the No. 2 playoff seed, which would give them a first-week buy and home field-advantage in Round 2.   The Houston Texans will most likely end up with the No.1 seed, but the Broncos, who are tied for the AFC's second-best record at 9-3 with New England and Baltimore, have an easier schedule than the Patriots and can put away the Ravens in two weeks.   The Broncos play the 3-9 Oakland Raiders Thursday night while New England plays 11-1 Houston and 8-3-1 San Francisco for the next two games.

It’s fourth down. Your team is down by five. There’s four seconds on the clock. And it’s 14 yards to the end zone. Who do you want as your quarterback? Tom Brady? Peyton Manning? Andrew Luck? How many Colts fans would have picked our rookie quarterback at the beginning of the season? And now…after Sunday? Andrew Luck is quickly becoming that quarterback. That quarterback...

Stop It

(Author's note: I came up with the general theme and "Stop it." idea halfway through writing this. Hence why it seems a bit disorganized. Still in better shape than the Bills, I think.) Hey everybody! Did you miss me? *crickets* Ok then. Well if anybody even knows/remembers who the hell I am, I have not written for Buffalo Wins for a long time because of...
