2.26 Denver Broncos Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin (5-10, 214) The Denver Broncos selected standout Wisconsin running back Montee Ball in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was one of the most productive runners in NCAA history and came away number one in total touchdowns. The problem in Denver the past couple of seasons has been consistency at the RB position. It seems like anyone that has started, has fared well. Willis McGahee can still be very good but his injuries leave doubts about whether he can play a full season at his age. Knowshon Moreno had been a relative bust since joining the Broncos, till he showed some life in 2012 after McGahee was lost for the season. Then Moreno got hurt again, something Broncos fans are all too familiar with. Enter Montee, who should start camp as the favorite to win the starting job. Not that he’s better than Willis at this point, but something tells us, McGahee isn’t on the team come June 1st. I believe Denver will roll with Ball, Moreno a...

Von Miller says the Broncos can’t replace Elvis Dumervil, but will be better this year

Linebacker  Von Miller believes the Denver Broncos are going to be a better team in 2013 despite the fact that Elvis Dumervil is no longer on their roster. “I feel like we have a way better team than we had last year,” he said. Miller says the Broncos are going to miss Dumervil. “He just had a lot of wisdom to give me before I had even stepped on the field, before I had even...

Von Miller believes the Broncos are much improved: ‘I feel like we have a way better team than we had last year’

Star defensive end Von Miller isn’t holding back his excitement for the upcoming season. Peyton Manning ad his offensive system is in year two of development, the addition of receiver Wes Welker brings a new dimension. Linebacker Shawn Phillips adds versatility to the Broncos defense, and could possibly minimize the departure of former Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil....

Artist paints Peyton Manning in four-minute time-lapse extravaganza

By the time these four minutes are all said and done, you almost can't tell the real Peyton Manning face from the painting -- save for the fact that it's done in black and white, of course.

Peyton Manning Remembers Every Detail Of A 1996 Tennessee Play

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (I never get tired of typing that) has a Rain Man-like memory when it comes to football. In early December he called Tennessee video coordinator Joe Harrington and asked a favor: “I pick up the phone and I go in the corner where it’s quiet, and I’m all, ‘Hello?’ and no ‘Hi, how ya doing?,’ nothing,” Harrington said. “This...

T.J. Moe Shrugs Off Comparisons to Wes Welker, Says He’s Just Trying to Make Patriots Roster

FOXBORO, Mass. — The minute T.J. Moe stepped on the field at Gillette Stadium to speak with the media, he was met with a question about Wes Welker. The comparisons between the two players are obvious. Both went undrafted, both use short-area quickness and agility more than straight-line speed to get separation, both are under 6-foot (despite Moe’s generous listing) and both excel...

Miller forges ahead without pass-rushing partner

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer Von Miller has a couple of new pass-rushing partners. What he really needs with Elvis Dumervil bolting to Baltimore is a new nickname. Upon joining the Denver Broncos in 2011, Miller proclaimed that Dumervil was ''Batman,'' and that made him ''Robin.'' But with Miller piling...

Von Milller--Sack Master, Chicken Farmer

There are some combos that work--offensive lineman and competitive eater; wide receiver and hair care products; New York Jets and circus. But did you ever expect to see sack master and chicken farmer mentioned in the same sentence? Well, be ready--cause that is exactly Denver Broncos defensive stud Von Miller is. Miller has founded Miller Farms, a chicken company located...
