Found April 27, 2013 on FF Locker Room:
The Denver Broncos have signed pass rushing linebacker Shaun Phillips to a one-year deal. Phillips had previously been employed by division rival San Diego where he has been his entire playing career, nine years. The Chargers wanted Phillips to re-sign but it looks like the deal the Broncos offered up was a little better. And I’m sure the lure of playing for a possible Super Bowl bound team is a big deal for Phillips. This signing probably means the Broncos don’t go after free agent Dwight Freeney. Shaun has 69 sacks to his name and should help to fill in some of the production left by Elvis Dumervil.   The post Denver Broncos Sign LB Shaun Phillips to One-Year Deal appeared first on FFLockerRoom | NFL - MLB News | Fantasy Sports Advice | Sports Talk.

He twice got kicked off the basketball team for poor grades and eventually was expelled for ditching too many classes. After...
