Virgil Green has entered the fashion design game, joining NFL players like Victor Cruz and Nate Burleson, who have developed their own clothing lines. The Denver Broncos tight end has been utilizing the NFL offseason to tackle his new fashion endeavor, which will serve as a way to prepare for life after football. Together with two childhood friends, Green launched an apparel line dubbed “Immaculate Deception Clothing.” As he explained to Visalia Times-Delta: Green said Immaculate Deception describes the way some people see him: Only as a football player.  A self-described music lover, Green said he likes to study ideas. He said he also likes to learn and teach. “I am not just a football player,” he said. “You are who you want to be. “We want our brand to have substance,” Green said. “I am really into clothing. I always had the idea of something like that.” Green held an event to promote the new line in his hometown of Tulare, California. Immaculate Deception Clothing is set to include high-quality pieces, with t-shirts, tanks and sweatshirts among the first featured styles. Inspirational messages will also be incorporated into the clothing. The company’s facebook and instagram pages have offered a preview of the fashions, and indicate that a website is set to go live on March 22. (photos via @idclothingco)
