During Saturday's exhibition game the Denver Broncos faced the Seattle Seahawks at Century Link Field.  With the help of big plays on the side of the Seahawks, the Broncos didn't stand a chance.  Adding insult to injury, Broncos cornerback, Champ Bailey and wide receiver, Wes Welker both suffered foot sprains.  No team wants to see a teammate injured, let a lone in a preseason game that carries no weight for the remainder of the season.  A player who is sure to impact his team in his absence is offensive linebacker, Von Miller who faces a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.A few other starters were also injured in the first half as well. Guard Louis Vasquez, left the game with a knee injury and linebacker, Stewart Bradley departed with an injury to his wrist.  The scariest of the night came when defensive end, Derek Wolfe, suffered a helmet-to-helmet hit affecting his spine.  Coach John Fox has reported that after Wolfe was taken to a Seattle hospital, the results of both his MRI and CT scan came back negative.  Wolfe hit up Twitter on Sunday afternoon to show his appreciation for the support he received since Saturday's incident."Thanks for your prayers everyone, I'll be okay and will be back on the field soon."Timelines for the return of Bailey, Welker and the remaining injured players has yet to be outlined.  But, given this is only the half-way point of preseason, it won't be surprising to see these starters resting and getting well for the games that matter. All pro linebacker, Von Miller matters in all games come Week 1.  He still continues to excel in all practices and has maintained that's he's done nothing wrong.  However, if all goes how most think it will, Miller won't return to the field until October 20th when the Broncos visit Indianapolis to face the Colts.Week after week their continues to be bad news for the Broncos squad.  It's only preseason, which means there's time for pressing issues to change their direction. As long as not much more gets added to the growing pile.
