Free agent safety Deon Grant told the August Chronicle that his body feels great at the age of 33.
“This is the first year in three or four years – and this was the longest one – that I can say I came out completely healthy,” Grant said. “I revamped everything and my body feels wonderful right now.”
Grant told the Chronicle that he expects to sign with the New York Giants some time during training camp.
“Grant is currently a free agent, though he expects to re-sign with the Giants at some point during camp,” reported Chris Gay of the Chronicle.
Even on the downside of his career, I thought Grant did a great job helping the Giants capture their second Super Bowl in five years.

Each April, 32 NFL general managers gather with their respective coaching staffs and college scouts to select a new crop of prospects to join the ranks of the league's elite talent. It's the culmination of a long, drawn out process that begins the moment each draftee steps onto the college field. Ultimately, some of these players will pan out, while most of them will spend...
For the last couple of seasons, Osi Umenyiora has been somewhat depicted as a petulant, spoiled child who was greedy for more and more money. But the fact remains that Osi did show up to play, and performed well, never loafing, and never taking plays off. This doesn’t make him the highest of character guys [...]

Peyton Manning, one of the best QBs of all time, is coming of multiple neck surgeries, has not played a game in over a year, and is playing with a new team. Still, with those questions looming over him, I have Peyton Manning ranked only behind Rodgers, Brady and Brees.
Of the QBs you could select ahead of Peyton, you can find a way to question each of them as well. Cam Newton...
