Although guard Derrick Dockery lost his starting job to a player who was out of football last season and was inactive for the first time in his career Sunday, he still could contribute in the 2010 season, Coach Mike Shanahan said during his Monday news conference at Redskins Park. Despite being physically sound, Dockery was listed as inactive for the 16-13 victory in overtime over the Green Bay Packers at FedEx Field. Dockery had never missed a game in his eight-year career. Dockery still has a place on the Redskins, "without question," Shanahan said. "If not, he wouldn't be on our football team."
