According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Packers linebacker Desmond Bishop underwent hamstring surgery and as of right now there hasn’t been any decision on whether he’ll return this season or not.
“Desmond Bishop had surgery on his torn hamstring today. It was performed by team physician Dr. Pat McKenzie. But no determination has been made about whether Bishop could return this season,” wrote the Press-Gazette.
The odds are that Bishop is done for the season, but there is reason to hold out some hope that he’ll be able to play in 2012.

SUPPORT THE TEAM
Well, I will give them this: they are definitely clever.
Whether or not you find them to be sweet or inappropriate and borderline gross (you know, once the inevitable mental image kicks in), you have to hand it to these two Green Bay Packers fans for coming up with a unique jersey name duo.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Preseason or not, NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers' first-team offense has hardly looked like the group that led the NFL in scoring last season. In six drives so far through two games, including the Packers' 35-10 loss Thursday night at home to the Cleveland Browns, Green Bay's starters have produced only seven total points with one interception...
It was only 4 carries Juan…
Alex Green got the start with both Cedric Benson and James Starks inactive against the Browns. He did run for 16 yards on 4 carries and was in on just about ever offensive snap. Green is a perfect fit for the Packers spread attack as he played in a similar system in Hawaii. It’s hard to jump off the page with only 4 carries, but this is still...
No determination has been made on Desmond Bishop returning this season. Meanwhile, Greg Jennings, Jermichael Finley and John Kuhn are expected to practice on Sunday, as is new running back Cedric Benson.
GREEN BAY, Wis. If this were a regular-season game, it's difficult to imagine that the Green Bay Packers would lose at home to the Cleveland Browns, 35-10. But as the preseason continues and coach Mike McCarthy gives extended looks to his second- and third-string players, the Packers are less concerned with wins and more concerned with finding out who will fill out their 53...
The Green Bay Packers played the Cleveland Browns in a preseason game on Thursday night and while Green Bay dropped its second-straight meaningless game by a score of 35-10 and the fact that the entire team has been mediocre at best thus far, nothing, I mean nothing, deters the hardcore Cheeseheads who back their beloved [...]
There have been some happenings in Packers camp the past couple of days so I saw it as a chance to write up a summary of what is going on so people are aware.
It seems the injury Desmond Bishop suffered during the Packers pre-season game against the Chargers was a bad one. Bishop will be out for the season. This is a big hit to the Packers defense that was already struggling...
Memories of a brutal NFC Divisional playoff loss to the New York Giants fester in the warm August air over Lambeau Field.
Last January, amidst a frigid Wisconsin winter night, the titanic 15-1 Green Bay Packers fans watched in horror as the goliath-slaying New York Giants stymied their team’s defense of its Super Bowl title.
It’s now seven months later, and time has not healed...
Hot News for QB Green Bay Packers
After an opening touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Jordy Nelson, the Browns dominated 35-10. Graham Harrell was mostly miserable and the Packers were lit up by Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy.

We all know that the NFL preseason doesn't really matter. At least the final score at the end of the game doesn't but for fantasy football owners there are plenty of things that can be taken away from these otherwise...
