In a pivotal NFC North game, the Minnesota Vikings were able to overcome the powerful offense of the Detroit Lions, going on to win 34-24.  The Vikings snapped their two game losing streak and were able to improve their record to 6-4 as they swept the Lions this year.Although the Vikings as a team played well, Christian Ponder finally had his rebound game, going 24-32 passing for 221 yards and two touchdowns on the day.  The real standout on the day for the Vikings and the player who did the most to help them win was star running back Adrian Peterson.On the day Peterson was able to gain 171 yards on 26 carries including a pivotal 61-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter that sealed the game.  Even though the Lions were able to march down the field late in the game and score one last touchdown, it was Peterson's 171 yards and late touchdown run that earns him the Minnesota Vikings Hero of the Game.Picking a single player as the Zero of the Game for the Lions is tougher than finding t...
