The Detroit Lions are one of the most talented teams in the NFL, but they haven’t been able to translate that to wins over the past two seasons. To help fix that issue, the front office cleaned house and assembled an entirely new coaching staff. The main goal of the new staff: unlocking quarterback Matt Stafford’s full potential. While change is never easy in the NFL, Stafford says he’s embraced and welcomed the change, according to NFL.com. “I think I’ve embraced it,” he told the team’s official website. “It’s something that is obviously a challenge. I don’t see this as something that I’m on this path by myself, but at the same time, I know the guys on the team are going to look up to me. “You never want to see coaches go, or people you’ve been with five-plus years, (backup quarterback)Shaun Hill included.
