PLAYERS: Calvin Johnson
TEAMS: Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions’ remaining opponents for 2013 have a combined record of 20-33.  Only two of the five times they have to face on the road are above .500.  When looking at the schedule the way each team is currently playing I can see the Lions finishing 11-5.  In fact when looking at each game individually I could see the Lions winning them all.  They won’t, but there is not one team below that has a real edge over the Leos. Don’t believe me?  Here are my premature predictions: Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns - First off, this game is not to be taken lightly.  The Lions offense looked pathetic last week, and if wide receiver Calvin Johnson does not return there is plenty of room to worry.  The Browns defense ranks 4th in total defense; however, Brandon Weeden is their quarterback.  A Lions defense that held Green Bay to one offensive touchdown last week will have its way with the Weedster.  Lions win 20-13. Cincinnati Bengals at Detroit Lions - Megatron needs to be back for this g...

Calvin Johnson a game-time decision against Browns

Detroit Lions running back Calvin Johnson (knee) is "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, and will be a game-time decision, reports Chris Wesseling of NFL.com. Calvin Johnson plays half the game against Browns

Once it was announced Calvin Johnson was active the next step was to determine how much he would play and how effective the superstar wide receiver would be. Johnson typically plays around 90 percent of the Detroit Lions' offensive snaps when healthy but in the team's 31-17 win over the Cleveland Browns he was on the field for just a little more than half of the plays....

Calvin Johnson Limited by Knee vs. Browns

Calvin Johnson was quiet in his return from a knee injury Sunday against Cleveland.Fantasy Spin:Johnson caught just three passes for 25 yards. That's Johnson's lowest yardage total since 2010 when the Jets limited him to just one reception for 13 yards. Despite a subpar performance by Johnson, the Lions won to improve their record to 4-2 for the season.

Calvin Johnson Will Play in Limited Role

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Lions receiver Calvin Johnson will play in a limited capacity Sunday versus the Browns.Fantasy Spin:As Mortensen explained, Johnson's knee "didn't blow up on him" in warmups. That's quite the endorsement. Fantasy owners certainly aren't going to sit him against Cleveland but this isn't likely to be one of Megatron's better weeks.

Schwartz on Megatron's injury status: 'Too soon to tell'

ALLEN PARK, Mich. When healthy, Calvin Johnson rarely misses a play. It was a little different story Sunday in Cleveland. Because of an ailing right knee, Johnson was limited to 38 of the teams 74 offensive plays or 51.4 percent of the time. Over the first three weeks, before the knee became such an issue, he played in all but three of the 205 plays. This time, the Lions had...

Browns' Haden set for showdown with Lions' Johnson

Browns cornerback Joe Haden says he can't worry about whether Lions star wide receiver Calvin Johnson will play Sunday after missing last week's game with a knee injury. Haden has to be ready for whatever Detroit might throw at him. And so far this season Haden has been up to every challenge for the Browns (3-2), who will try to extend their winning streak to four games...

Fantasy Football Injury Report Week 6

Jacoby Jones (BAL) WR: Some optimism is finally emerging after a frustrating injury has kept Jones off the field since Week 1. He practiced during the week and is listed as questionable, and although there’s a decent chance he sees some playing time against Green Bay on Sunday, hold off on starting him in fantasy. C.J. Spiller (BUF) RB: Spiller was gimpy at practice with his ankle...

Cleveland Browns vs. Detroit Lions: Week Six Preview

The 3-2 Cleveland Browns look to extend their winning streak to four games, something they haven’t done since the last four games of the 2009 NFL season. Standing in their way are the 3-2 Detroit Lions. The Lions are definitely banged up on the offensive side of the ball, specifically at the wide receiver position, but they will still present a challenge to Brandon Weeden and the...

NFL News: Halftime score Browns 17, Lions 7

The Browns have held a lead going into halftime for all five of their games before today. They continued that streak with a strong second quarter.
