Saturday night’s matchup between the Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints should have a familiar feel.
It was only a month ago these two teams faced off in prime time at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The Saints come in as heavy favorites, but the Lions aren't likely to hand the game over. The Saints are hoping to repeat the results of the December meeting when they prevailed 31-17. If the Saints are going to come out on top, here are a few keys to the game:
Keep Suh in check: When the Saints beat won in December, the Lions were without defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who was serving a suspension for trying to crush a Green Bay Packers’ player face like a grape. Suh is currently working through his sophomore slump, but he is more than capable of wreaking havoc. The Saints offensive line will need to make sure he doesn’t channel any of his rookie magic.
