I do expect to catch some sort of flack from this blog, but that's okay.... but I need to say what needs to be said. First of all let me say that harming any type of animal is morally wrong and should not be condoned. I'm not going to make the argument "innocent until proven guilty"...that's like saying we should give people like Scott Peterson the benefit of the doubt. BUT there are some aspects that I don't think people are paying attention to or even noticing. Of course the media has blown this up and it's a cover story everywhere. Did we need to know everything we knew about Anna Nicole and all the speculation that surrounded that mess? No. It was shoved down our throats and we now know a lot of what was said by "credible" journalists was wrong. The same with the Benoit case. Everyone and their mom stated it was definite roid rage, turns out not to directly be. Let's not fall into the ever-present media's hands and agree with everything that they are saying. We've read the indictment, it's horrible!
Michael Vick is an incredible athlete, we all know this. He completely turned around a dismal franchise and made the city of Atlanta pumped up about a team that has been pathetic pretty much its whole existence. No, that one year when the Dirty Bird took off and we went to the SuperBowl does not legitimize the team! I think some individuals are not taking aspects into account here.....
