Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.
According to sources, talented, but uber-troubled Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant is tied up with the law yet again, this time for his role in an altercation at a club in Miami, Florida last evening.
Few details have surfaced so far about Bryant’s detention or what role Bryant played in the altercation, but we will be sure to update you as they become available.
It's another sad chapter in what has become a book of off-field incidents involving Bryant. One has to begin to wonder whether Dallas’ substantial investment in the wideout is worth the headaches they must deal with constantly in his off-field transgressions.
When is enough, enough for the Cowboys and Bryant? How many chances are too many chances?
If the example of Tank Johnson and Pac Man Jones is any precedent, Bryant probably has a few more chances left before Jerry Jones is willing to part ways and move on.
At this point it appears that Dez Bryant’s behavior isn’t going to change any time soon, he’s just not learning from his mistakes– if anything he’s continuing to act out of spite to those trying to help him get his life on track.
No amount of talent can justify this continued lack of respect for an employer and those who just want to help.
